Evette Schaeffer Serial Numbers Saxophone Images
This is a student level sax, likely made by the Italian firm of A. Santoni for Evette in the 1960's or early 1970's. As a 'Stencil' horn (i.e. An instrument made by one manufacturer for another maker/retailer to brand with their own name and model), catalogs of serial number vs. Date of manufacture listings are not published and thus the only ay to date it is to ID the features of the. I have an old EVETTE & SCHAEFFER SAXOPHONE. It has the address 18 & 20 PASSAGE DU GRAND-CERF, PARIS on it and the number 296. It's condition is well worn as can be seen on the photos. The low number and style make me think it is an early model?

i have a evette lehureffler ani m or buffet crampon&cie made in paris france marked carl fisher new york .the model number is 23634 which dates the sax 1918.it is a silver jazz saxaphone.the saxaphone appears to be in very good condition.i would like to know its value.
