Converting scores from PDF or images to MusicXML/MIDI/etc.
Recently I had to rewrite a lot of scores from PDF's or jpg's to the files which can be played by a score editor or directly used as MIDI in a DAW. After quick research and some trials I realized I cannot find any software which can perform such tasks:
- Read notes from PDF or jpg regardless the size of the note symbols used.
- Read different notation standards: traditional (G, F, C clefs) + drums/percussion + guitar tabs.
Is there any demand for such application? Maybe something like this already exists?
